The Armada Ruleset Collective is a project started to ensure Star Wars: Armada has a living ruleset so Tournament Organizers and players will always have access to the most up-to-date and accurate information on rules.
We are aiming to keep the Star Wars: Armada competitive scene vibrant and interesting by ensuring balanced and varied gameplay and we are working with Tournament Organizers to continue an organized play structure, encouraging consistency, coordination, and collaboration of Star Wars: Armada events worldwide.

The Armada Reference Manual (ARM) is a compiled document with a comprehensive list of FAQs about all the cards in the game. It is a large document, over 160 pages of cards, questions, and answers graphically formatted for ease of use. This took a ton of man hours to compile and I’ve proofread the entire document about a dozen times.
This document is able to be used as a quick reference for tournament officials when a ruling is needed to be made and they don’t quite know the answer. It also serves to help players realise if interactions between different upgrades work the way they thought.
The above are example test packets that I helped to design and author. We settled on using priority categories as a way for people to know what the vital stuff to test, that we need more information on than other content, will be. For the most part the packets helped us to explain our design decisions to testers with later packets reducing that information as we keep refining what we’ve got into something the majority of us can be happy with.
With every update, small or big, to the ARM we include a changelog that highlights just the information that has changed so that people are aware of exactly what’s changed. This also takes a lot of time to edit as like with the rulebook we have to use Figma to lock down alignment and a matching style to the rulebook.
